Flashing is the metal that ties your roof to everything it touches: chimneys, walls, skylights, valleys and vent pipes. Those joints move with heat cycling, get battered by hail, and eventually corrode or pull loose. The common shortcut is a bead of caulk over the gap, which buys a season or two before it cracks. We remove the failed flashing, correct the detail underneath, and install new metal that sheds water the way it was designed to.
